Huge Fashion's Night Out Japan

Setelah diguncang oleh gempa dan tsunami yang meluluhlantahkan Jepang, banyak uluran tangan dan pihak yang bersimpati atas musibah yang melanda negeri matahari itu. Termasuk Conde Nast internasional dan majalah Vogue melakukan acara amal sekaligus mendukung pemulihan Jepang pasca gempa dan tsunami 11 maret lalu. Melalui acara Fashion Night Out yang digagas oleh Anna Wintour, Conde Nast dan Vogue pun juga menekankan pentingnya pasar Jepang akan fashion dan luxury market (okay menurut gua ini sesuatu yang sangat bertolak belakang. Bencana dan luxury market %$#F^&Y%5$!@) Yang menarik pada Tokyo's Fashion Night Out 2011 ini adalah tidak hanya ribuan retailers yang berpartisi. Tetapi juga untuk pertama kalinya, seluruh 17 orang editor in chief majalah Vogue dari seluruh dunia turut hadir untuk menyemarakkan event ini. Mereka semua dihadirkan untuk memperkuat statement bahwa Conde Nast benar benar serius untuk mendukung pemulihan Jepang pasca bencana sekaligus pentingnya pasar Jepang terhadap fashion. Jadi bukannya berlebihan kalau Tokyo Fashion's Night Out ini bener bener acara akbar yang spektakuler. Karena acara ini emang digagas sama Anna Wintour, jadi ya the editor is the rock star! -______-.. Tapi disisi lain gue lebih mikir, ngurus satu editor in chief yang punya banyak tingkah (ala ala Miranda Priestly di The Devil wears Prada) aja ribet, gimana kalau 17 orang ya. Dalam satu tempat yang sama pula. werrkk... I have to get wonder how the atmosphere would be. Lol Lol
Selain 17 editor in chief dari Vogue seluruh dunia, turut pula hadir desainer Michael Kors, Roberto Cavalli, Derek Lam, Christoper Bailey dari Burberry Prorsum, Giambatista Valli, Stuart vevers dari Loewe, Kris Van Assche dari Dior Homme, Nicola Formichetti dari Thierry Mugler, Marcus wainwright dan David Neville dari Rag&Bone, Jennifer Hudson dan juga si editor Vogue Japan paling eksis, Anna Dello Russo :D
